5 of the best from August

And just like that, spring is finally here! A huge and heartfelt thank you to all the lovely couples and talented wedding creatives who kept us warm, busy, and more inspired than ever this winter. Bring on peony season!

Jade and the team x

ONE – A silent, frost-kissed landscape with a little winter sparkle peeking through the trees? Check. Two impossibly photogenic newlyweds and a cheeky pair of flower girls? Check, check. And an equally show-stealing bridal party entrance by way of luxury Italian sports car? Check! We couldn’t have scripted Annabel and Robert’s ethereal-meets-opulence wedding at Spicers Guesthouse better if we tried. There was a lot of love, infectious laughter, and enough sandy blush roses to blanket the entire Hunter Valley. One word: magic!

TWO – Dainty, whimsical, and with a hint of something pastel blue, Maddie and Justin’s wedding styling was exactly what enchanted wild garden dreams are made of. The team at JMFS still can’t decide on a favourite – the crisp white tulips, delicate mauve sweet pea, peachy pink poppies, fragrant jonquils, and periwinkle-hued forget-me-nots all felt like sunshine for the soul after a chilly few months and made for the prettiest, springlike aesthetic. Keep an eye on our socials for more pics of this beautiful day…

THREE – Our current pick for a wedding venue that’s equal parts secluded, romantic, and insta-worthy? Broke’s Krinklewood Estate. It’s an effortless and unpretentious homage to regal French countryside, and boasts multiple, nature-inspired spaces to say ‘I do’. With a rustic farmhouse, pool, and expansive outdoor loggia, it’s also the perfect place to stay, relax and recover (or continue the good times!) after the wedding. Did we mention the backdrop of colour-changing Manchurian pear trees? A photographer’s dream!

FOUR – This might just be the client testimonial to end all client testimonials. Mikaylee and Hamish got married in the latter half of August at Peppers Creek Barrel Room & Chapel, surrounded by loved ones and the most breathtaking arrangement of floating candles. Heaven!

‘From our very first consultation, it was clear that the team understood our vision and were committed to bringing it to life. Your creativity, expertise, and attention to detail transformed our ideas into a stunning reality. You guys were very supportive and helpful in ensuring we would have enough items to cover the venue and gave your advice as well which we truly appreciated. The overall styling was not only beautiful but also perfectly reflected our style and the atmosphere we hoped to create.

We received countless compliments from our guests and know this is a testament to your skill and passion. Walking into the reception to have a first look brought tears to our eyes – it was like walking into a magical fairy land.

Thank you for your hard work, patience, and the countless hours you put in to make sure everything was perfect and fit our vibe as a couple. Your contribution made our wedding not just a celebration, but a beautifully styled and unforgettable experience. We will be highly recommending you to all our nearest and dearest for future events.’
