Wrap-up: June 2025

News
While it’s common to feel a little ‘blah’ when the sun goes into hiding and temperatures start to really plummet, the team at JMFS has felt more inspired than ever this month. We were surrounded by an abundance of cherry blossoms, celosia and other vibrant seasonal flowers, drank a world record-breaking number of matcha lattes, and some of us (Jade!) even snuck in a week-long Bali yoga retreat. No winter blues here…
See you all in July x

ONE

It’s raining galleries and we can’t share them on our socials fast enough! The end of peak season often means there are fewer weddings to be a part of, but it also means vendors have some time to reflect, recuperate, and – most importantly – receive a STACK of editorial-worthy images that photographers have perfected for couples during this quieter period. The talented Tim Recht captured every tender moment of Charlotte and Daniel’s ‘happily ever after’ in May, including the duo’s sun-soaked ceremony in the Hunter Valley Gardens, their rustic indoor reception at Bistro Molines, and our timeless ivory florals and styling throughout. One word: heaven!

TWO

Another new gallery we’re low-key obsessed with? Chloe and Jak’s from Dash Day 2025. They were one of several couples who took part in this single-day event at Peppers Creek, saying ‘I do’ in the venue’s idyllic sandstone chapel before joining just a handful of loved ones in the barrel room for an intimate (and exquisitely styled!) candlelit dinner. All-inclusive elopement packages are ideal for those who want a romantic and stress-free celebration, bringing together a powerhouse team of vendors in the Hunter Valley. Pash & Dash are renowned micro wedding specialists for a reason! We’re always so honoured to contribute here at JMFS.

THREE

Our hearts are swelling with pride and gratitude after being recognised as a ‘certified fan favourite’ in the wedding world! Sassy Wed Crew recently posted this review from past JMFS couple Rachel and Marc, who celebrated their love with a colourful, elegance-meets-maximalist wedding in 2024 at Peterson House. To this day, their pastel rainbow florals and styling have racked up more likes, comments and reshares than any other on our socials!
‘We planned our wedding from Dubai, which wasn’t the easiest but Jade and her team were so detailed and accommodating. We sent some inspo pics and had a few ideas of our own initially and ended up with the most beautiful spring floral vibes in autumn.  We also matched the bouquets to the bridesmaids’ dresses, which kept changing up until two months out. They just rolled with it! Three hours before our ceremony we had to call wet weather as well, and the team changed a hanging installation into two stunning plinth arrangements inside the chapel. It was perfection!’

FOUR

Just Jade sharing her wealth of industry experience and well-earned business acumen on Sera Luna Co’s latest podcast… no big deal. Our chai-loving Boss Lady sat down with photographers Bryce and Ty in May to chat all things wedding and the episode is finally live on Spotify! We’ve popped the link below if you fancy a listen.

FIVE

This 5-star review from newlyweds Kobie and Dean was the perfect way to cap off the month. Beautiful words, beautiful couple!
‘Working with the JMFS team was wonderful – the first phone call, asking questions, understanding what I loved, helping pin the boutonnieres… I loved my flowers, and I loved the whole day! Jade helped make this magic happen and did everything she said she would.’
