Wrap-up: April 2025

News
What a lovely month! Style-wise, April 2025 was all about a fresh and understated look. Congratulations to our gorgeous JMFS newlyweds and a big, big thank you to the brilliant wedding creatives that helped us create wedding magic across the Hunter Valley.

ONE

Camila and Conor radiated pure, unadulterated joy on their wedding day at Peppers Creek – as did their close-knit bridal party! These beaming faces descended upon the venue’s sandstone chapel at the start of the month, where the most divine hanging floral arrangement acted as a whimsical, mistletoe-esque centerpiece for the couple’s sweet ceremony vows. This dreamy setup also featured stacked wine barrels and small clusters of glass hurricane candles, which added to the intimate ‘secret garden’ feel inside. It’s virtually impossible to go wrong with draped native greenery, white seasonal flowers and romantic lighting! A huge congratulations to the elated newlyweds and a heartfelt thank you for choosing us to contribute to your enduring love story.

TWO

You asked, we answered! More budget breakdowns are now live on the JMFS blog. Weddings are fun, stunning and deeply meaningful milestone events but planning them isn’t always as enjoyable or easy (especially when it comes to nutting out the financial aspects!). With this in mind, the JMFS team has put together another real-life sample to help guide couples through this process. Enter: Jess and Adam’s monochromatic wedding at Spicers Guesthouse. It was the epitome of elegance earlier this year and had a clean and minimalist aesthetic. We loved the white acrylic ceremony plinths, silk latte ribboning, fluted pillar candles and chic cream parasols. Editorial-worthy heaven!

THREE

At risk of sounding like a broken record, WE LOVE RECEIVING WEDDING GALLERIES AT JMFS. All day, every day… please keep them coming! Rachel and Cahal’s landed in our inbox this week from the talented photographers at Veri. It’s hard to pick a favourite from this New Year’s Eve celebration, which included fireworks, a fairy, and arrival by way of helicopter and tractor. Did someone say epic?! Keep an eye on our socials for more pics of this beautiful couple and their action-packed ‘I dos’.

FIVE

In news that will surprise absolutely no one, photos from Claire and Jack’s elopement were equally beautiful. Ivory roses, lush greenery, and glass hurricane candles gave the Peppers Creek Chapel a soft and romantic feel. Rose gold accents throughout the venue’s Tuscan-inspired barrel room added a touch of luxe too.
