Nikki and Rafael are two of the loveliest, most infectious people you will likely ever meet – their uproarious, unapologetic laughter, their joy, their love for each other, and their eagerness to celebrate this love in a relaxed but meaningful way. The two did just in the Hunter Valley at historic Peppers Creek, saying ‘I do’ in the venue’s charming sandstone chapel then throwing the most special of dinner parties in its rustic, Tuscan-style barrel room. Our favourite part? The colour palette! If ivory and other traditional neutrals are quintessential ‘timeless wedding’, then sage is the unequivocal and equally timeless neutral of the colour world. Soft, uplifting, warm, and effortlessly romantic! Our hearts couldn’t be happier for the newlyweds. We couldn’t be more pleased to see these divine muted green tones taking their rightful place atop everyone’s wishlist for spring 2024 either.
Like a lot of Millennials, Nikki and Rafael’s love story began IRL and quietly blossomed over after-school chats on MSN. In Year 12, they became official. Inseparable ever since, the couple is proof that you can, against several odds, find your forever person early on in life. Blessed! Their wedding florals and styling in September were similarly uncomplicated, featuring delicate drapery, oversized hurricane candles, dusky sage napkins, and flowers in every shade of white. Sometimes, simple is just beautiful.
