JMFS wrap-up for 2024

News

If last year was the ‘Year of Consolidation’ for Jade McIntosh Flowers and Styling, then 2024 is the unequivocal ‘Year of Exploring New Territory’ (stunning, flower-filled territory, of course!). The past 12 months have seen the team style a lavish wedding overseas, add signage and stationery to our growing repertoire, and feature in a Vogue editorial. No biggie!

Infinite gratitude to all the lovely couples and exceedingly talented vendors we crossed paths with in 2024. We hope you have a safe and deliriously happy holiday season x

Oui oui to working wedding magic in France

Hunter Valley lovebirds Pierre and Mercedes said ‘I do’ in July at the Château De Lisledon, which quite literally looks like a fairytale castle. Nestled in the hills of picturesque French commune Villemandeur, this venue is quintessential Europe – vast, mythic, distinctive, and breathtakingly beautiful. And the chosen florist and stylist for this epic day? Jade McIntosh!

Introducing our in-house graphic designer, Ash

She’s a dog and indie music lover, unapologetic wedding enthusiast, and genuine creative all wrapped into one gorgeous human. Our newest team member also owns Wish Boutique, a cosy Newcastle-based studio that creates editorial-worthy signage and stationery for soon-to-be newlyweds. Did we mention that Ash custom-makes ABSOLUTELY EVERTHING? Embossing, foiling, and other special finishes are all meticulously applied by hand. Talk about skillful!

Utterly divine JMFS couple Madeline and Lachlan feature in British Vogue

It doesn’t get much more special than this – Vogue is iconic. An institution! It was thrilling to see this loved-up couple’s wedding (and our dreamy, monochromatic florals and styling) splashed across its pages. We’ve never seen so many perfectly ruffled white roses, nor have we put together a bigger Moet Champagne tower! Heaven.
