Hannah and Daniel: Wedding budget breakdown

News

At Jade McIntosh Flowers and Styling, we appreciate that many of our lovely couples can experience a bit of trouble when it comes to gauging wedding costs. There are lots of moving pieces! While we’re admittedly a little biased and firmly believe that flowers and styling are ABSOLUTELY a non-negotiable for your big day, we also understand that there are lots of other elements to consider when making and sticking to a budget.

With this in mind, we thought it would be helpful to give you a real-life sample as a guide (and we’ll continue providing these breakdowns on our Wedding Journal in 2024 and beyond). Hannah and Daniel’s crisp ivory and dark green florals at Circa 1876 have been one of the most requested in recent memory, so we’ve opted to share detailed pricing of their dreamy aesthetic below. A refined colour palette is simple but striking – the epitome of timeless!

The two prioritised flowers and styling in their overall wedding budget, spending a total of $12,371.50 on the following:

Personal flowers
  • 1 x bridal bouquet
  • 2 x bridesmaid bouquets
  • 1 x small throwaway bouquet
  • 7 x buttonholes for groom and groomsmen
  • 2 x corsages

Ceremony
  • Petal cones and confetti
  • Signage florals and easel hire
  • 1 x arbour flower arrangement

Reception
  • 4 x big, beautiful floral table arrangements (including an extra special one for the bridal table!)
  • Hire of brass candlesticks and gold rim votives for tables and fireplace mantle
  • Centre beam flower installation
  • Signage florals and easel hire
  • Cake flowers

This price is also inclusive of delivery, set-up and pack-down fees.
