A modern take on the classics

News

Coastal boho vibes and one of the loveliest couples we ever did meet.. this wedding was truly special and one we won’t soon forget!

Tayla and Luke’s soft florals and airy, light-filled beachside venue may have been a far cry from the monochrome, grungy world of motorbikes in which they first met as teenagers, but this dreamy styling was a perfect match for the evolution of their love story – simple, natural, and just beautiful. These two radiate joy and we feel incredibly privileged to have been a part of their big day in February.

Tayla’s bouquet was a modern take on the classics, heroing dried fan palm, fluffy bunny tails, bleached Italian ruscus, delicate alabaster roses and a show-stopping single white phalaenopsis orchid. Absolutely stunning!

The couple’s ceremony overlooking the ocean at Fingal Bay’s Barry Park was equally breathtaking. Subtle pops of dusty pink, bamboo accents and a whirl of creamy petals floating through the open space added to a fairytale-like atmosphere. It’s impossible not to smile when looking at these photos too, and after a week of ominous weather we are so glad the sun came out to play for Tayla and Luke!

This pretty neutral colour palette was taken right through to Tayla and Luke’s wedding reception at Whitesands Shoal Bay as well. Timeless gold decor and romantic candlelight tied all the gorgeous styling elements together, with nudes, pale peaches and ivory featuring in unstructured floral arrangements.

Everything on the day – from the happy newlyweds and guests to the overall look and feel of the flowers – was so relaxed and effortless. Our favourite part though? Knowing it ranks as Tayla and Luke’s sweet 5-year-old daughter’s “best day ever!”

Congratulations to you both x
