March was all about mid-week weddings, custom signage, and classic florals + styling. Trends come and go, but fresh white and green is forever! The team has also been loving all the beautiful outdoor ceremonies we’ve worked recently – the perfect way to make the most of this gorgeous sunny weather and guarantee some epic ‘golden hour’ shots. See you in April!

If you google ‘quintessential timeless wedding’, you’ll more than likely come across Jordan and Joshua’s STUNNING nuptials at Peterson House – fresh, understated, and effortlessly charming! The couple swapped ‘I dos’ at the start of the month, enveloped in crisp white flowers, lush greenery, and clusters of oversized glass candles. Single-stemmed gardenias in sandy vases were also dotted along the venue’s rustic timber barrels during cocktail hour, which complemented this neutral palette beautifully. We’re so excited to see the full gallery and will definitely share these pics on our socials asap!

Jess and Adam’s monochromatic wedding at Spicers Guesthouse is further proof that ‘classics’ are classic for a reason. This elegant and refined aesthetic will absolutely stand the test of time – trends be damned! Roses en masse? Check. Asymmetrical plinth arrangements featuring show-stopping ivory seasonal blooms? Check. Silk latte ribboning? White beechwood chairs? Fluted pillar candles? Check, check, check! Their outdoor ceremony had all the makings of a truly timeless celebration. Simple but impactful! The team at JMFS was honoured to contribute to something so special.

THREE
There’s no slowing the Pash & Dash x JMFS micro wedding collab! Kirstan and Daniel were one of several newlywed pairings that opted for an intimate and uncomplicated affair in the past few weeks, choosing Tuscan-inspired Peppers Creek Barrel Room and Chapel as their elopement destination. Easy, fun, affordable and romantic, these packages are designed to take away unnecessary stress and allow couples to focus on enjoying their day with the people who matter most. Keep an eye out for more photos of small-scale (but seriously beautiful!) love stories just like this!

FOUR
JMFS has joined forces with the dynamic thinkers at Sassy Wed Crew. For the uninitiated, these experienced celebrants-turned-vendor-referral-specialists are extremely connected in Newcastle’s wedding world and have recently banded together to help couples who are planning their own big day. We’re included in their extensive online directory of photographers, cakemakers and other local wedding suppliers, proudly sharing a similar vibe and professionalism (hence the recommendation!). Couples are invited to fill out a simple form and then BOOM – their inboxes will be flooded with quotes and availabilities in 24-48 hours. Too easy!
